High School aged young people involved in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church’s youth ministry—meet Sunday mornings after the 9:00 AM Mass—from about 10:15-11:15 AM in the church Library. You don’t have to be Catholic—and friends are always welcome!
We learn about the Catholic faith and how it relates to topics in our everyday lives—like making New Year’s resolutions, Good vs Evil, the sanctity of life, how to keep your locker Catholic, where is Christ on the Playing Field and the importance of good friends. We live our faith! We have served chili to Oscoda police and firefighters, performed random acts of kindness to the unsuspecting along U.S. 23, cleaned up after Coffee and Donuts, heralded our Lord’s birth in the Oscoda-AuSable Chamber of Commerce community Christmas Parade and passed out trail treats with a St. Hubert prayer card to hunters receiving a blessing before Opening Day.
